Which Descript plan is the best value?
Hobbyist is the logical first paid tier when your main problem is the Free plan's low media allowance or export ceiling. Creator is the stronger value point for frequent creators who need 4K, substantially more media time and AI credits, plus broader Underlord and generative features. Business becomes rational when team controls, Brand Studio, translation/dubbing and priority support matter enough to justify the higher per-seat cost.

Where buyers overpay
