Core methodology

Credits are not directly comparable across platforms. A credit becomes economically meaningful only when mapped to the model, duration, resolution and generation mode that consumes it.

Core production metric
Cost per Approved Clip = Cost per Generation ÷ Approval Rate

We therefore separate nominal subscription price from effective production cost. When data allows, the analysis incorporates retries, failed generations, upscale costs, model-specific consumption and the share of generations that are actually usable.

Verification standard

  • Derived calculations are labeled as calculations, not vendor-stated prices.

  • Monthly and annual billing equivalents are not presented as the same billing price.
  • Provider-specific credits are not compared as if they were a common currency.
