AI makes it possible to localize one product campaign into multiple languages without reshooting every market. The risk is assuming that translation alone creates a local advertisement. It does not.

A strong multilingual workflow separates message, language, voice, visuals and legal claims so each can be reviewed independently.

Step 1: lock the source ad

Start with one approved source version. Finalize the product facts, price language, claims, call to action and visual sequence before translating. If the source keeps changing, every localized version becomes harder to control.

Step 2: create a localization brief

For each target market, define language, dialect, currency, units, prohibited claims, mandatory disclaimers, brand terms and words that must not be translated. A glossary is especially useful for product names and technical terms.

Step 3: choose the localization workflow

HeyGen currently supports translation workflows across 175+ languages and dialects, including voice preservation and lip sync. Synthesia supports multilingual avatar and translation workflows across a broad language set. ElevenLabs Dubbing v2 supports 90+ languages and can preserve more of the original vocal performance.

The right choice depends on whether you are translating an existing presenter video, generating an avatar-led version or primarily replacing the voice layer.

Step 4: review the script before generation

Do not rely on machine translation alone for commercial claims. A native or fluent reviewer should check meaning, tone, product terminology and local expectations before you generate final audio or video.

Step 5: generate voice and lip sync

If the ad contains an on-camera speaker, test whether the translated delivery still looks natural. Lip sync can improve realism, but it does not guarantee that pacing or emphasis is appropriate for the target market.

Step 6: localize the visual layer

Check on-screen text, prices, currencies, units, dates, product packaging and screenshots. A translated voice over an English-only interface is not a fully localized ad.

Step 7: validate claims and compliance

Claims that are acceptable in one market may require different evidence or wording elsewhere. AI should not invent testimonials, certifications, health claims or performance statements. Keep a human approval step before publishing.

Step 8: test by market

Do not assume the same hook will perform everywhere. Preserve the product truth but test different openings, presenters, pacing and calls to action by market.
