The easiest systems to forecast

OpusClip and standard Vizard clipping are straightforward for long-form repurposing: a 60-minute source is roughly 60 credits in each provider's standard clipping workflow. That does not make their credits equal in monetary value; plan price, included features, output quality and expiry still differ.

Synthesia is also predictable for avatar-video generation: 2 credits per second means a five-minute generated video uses roughly 600 base video credits before any extra credit-consuming AI assets.

Where credit burn is more variable

Hypernatural is model-sensitive. A simple narrated still-image workflow can use far fewer credits than a scene-heavy video animated with expensive models. Its support documentation explicitly shows usage varying with image generation, premium narration, animation choice and regeneration.

Filmora also uses feature-specific AI credit costs. The useful budgeting distinction is between recurring credit packages that reset and one-time packs with longer advertised validity, rather than assuming every Filmora AI operation costs the same amount.

Murf is not really a “credit” comparison

Murf's Studio is better modeled in hours of Voice Generation Time. Creator currently provides 2 hours per month or 24 hours per year, Growth 8/96 and Business 20/240. Murf's carry-forward is unusually buyer-friendly compared with strict-expiry systems, but only into the immediately following cycle and only while renewal/plan-state conditions are met.

Rollover and expiry: the biggest hidden difference
