Before paying for an AI video or voice subscription, compare what “cancel anytime” actually means: refund windows, usage conditions, renewal timing, credit expiry and access after cancellation.
The most explicit general refund windows in this comparison are ElevenLabs (14 days if no credit quota was used), Vizard (7 days if the service is unused) and Murf (within 24 hours and under 10 minutes used). Do not treat “cancel anytime” as “money back anytime.” For most SaaS subscriptions, cancellation controls the next renewal. Refunds are a separate exception with their own timing and usage tests.

ElevenLabs currently says a refund is eligible when the request is filed within 14 days of payment and no credit quota was used for the period being refunded. Cancellation itself takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, after which unused paid credits expire.

Vizard: 7 days, but only while the service is unused
Vizard's refund policy allows requests within 7 days of purchase only when the service remains unused; uploading data or using its tools counts as use. Billing errors can also qualify for review, and processing fees may apply to non-billing-error refunds.

Murf: very short window plus a usage cap
Murf says a subscription or one-time pack may be eligible when purchased within the last 24 hours and account usage is below 10 minutes of voice generation time. Outside either condition, its Terms describe the payment as not eligible for refund.

Mostly no-refund subscription policies
Synthesia and Elai
Synthesia says purchases are non-cancelable and, except where the contract expressly states otherwise, non-refundable. Elai's current Terms say initial paid fees and automatic-renewal fees are non-refundable and unused paid minutes are forfeited.
Fliki and Hypernatural
Fliki's FAQ and Terms state that current subscription-period fees are not refunded after cancellation. Hypernatural says subscription payments, unused subscription time and unused credits are generally non-refundable except where law or its Terms require otherwise.

Submagic and OpusClip: important exceptions to understand
Submagic says monthly and annual fees are non-refundable, while its Terms preserve a 14-day withdrawal right for qualifying consumers under stated conditions. OpusClip generally does not provide a prorated cash refund for the current term, but Pro users can separately refund eligible projects for credits within its project rules.

Five checks before you subscribe
- Refund clock: does the window run from purchase, renewal or invoice date?
- Usage trigger: can generating one clip, uploading a file or consuming one credit eliminate refund eligibility?
- Purchase channel: Apple/Google purchases may be controlled by the app store rather than the provider.
- Credit expiry: use or document remaining credits before the subscription ends.
- Project retention: export videos and assets that become unavailable after downgrade or cancellation.
